LUNA SEA TOUR 2026 UNENDING JOURNEY -FOREVER-

Few acts carry Japanese rock history like LUNA SEA. Formed in Kanagawa in the late 1980s, the five-member group helped build what eventually became visual-kei through late-1990s album runs like IMAGE, EDEN, MOTHER, STYLE, and SHINE. Their 2000 Final Act concert at Tokyo Stadium was one of the most memorable band-breakup events in Japanese music history — a sold-out 70,000-seat farewell the members themselves later admitted was premature. The 2010 reformation turned out to be anything but a nostalgia run: Ryuichi, Sugizo, Inoran, J, and Shinya have since released multiple studio albums, run two cross-generational tours, and sustained parallel work including Sugizo's X Japan involvement. UNENDING JOURNEY -FOREVER- is pointedly scaled for the music rather than the spectacle. 27 halls across 9 months means cities like Yonago, Kumamoto, Morioka, Takasaki and Utsunomiya receive their first LUNA SEA date in nearly a decade, and the setlist has been publicly positioned as drawing heavily from mid-1990s back catalog material.
