Kochi Prefectural Cultural Hall

Kochi Prefectural Cultural Hall (Orange Hall) is a 1,507-seat main hall in central Kochi, the principal performing-arts venue of Kochi Prefecture since its opening. Located in Honmachi near Kochi Castle, the complex also includes a 300-seat small hall and exhibition space, allowing it to anchor the prefectural classical-music series, visiting J-pop national tour Shikoku dates, and touring theatrical productions. A 10-minute walk from JR Kochi Station or a short tram ride via the Tosaden Kotsu system, it remains Kochi's most accessible cultural venue for regional audiences. The main hall's wood-panel reflective walls and traditional shoebox geometry favor classical and vocal programming.
