Q&A Stadium Miyagi

Miyagi Stadium, currently known as Q&A Stadium Miyagi, is a large outdoor multi-purpose stadium located in Rifu Town, Miyagi Prefecture, within the Sendai metropolitan area. Completed in the year 2000, it is part of the Miyagi Prefecture General Sports Park (Grandy 21). Its most distinctive architectural feature is a crescent-shaped roof that extends beyond the stands, inspired by the helmet crest of the feudal lord Date Masamune. As an international-standard athletics and football stadium, it has a fixed seating capacity of approximately 49,133, offering clear sightlines from all seats. While primarily hosting sporting events, the venue has also staged a limited number of large-scale outdoor concerts, utilizing its expansive field for temporary stage setups. The acoustics are tailored for an open-air environment, with specialized configurations for musical performances. It is accessible via JR Rifu Station, with shuttle bus services available, providing a convenient connection from central Sendai.
