How TIXVOY works
Nippon Gaishi Hall, officially Nagoya City General Gymnasium, is a major indoor arena in Minami Ward, Nagoya. Formerly known as Nagoya Rainbow Hall, it adopted the Nippon Gaishi name in 2007 under naming rights from NGK Insulators. The main arena holds about 10,000 people and is used for concerts, sports, and large touring events that include a Nagoya date. Visitors usually approach from JR Kasadera Station or Meitetsu Honhoshizaki Station, so concert days require extra time for the walk, station crowding, bag checks, and identity-controlled entry when applicable.
Nippon Gaishi Hall, officially Nagoya City General Gymnasium, sits in the Minami Ward of Nagoya and has been central Japan''s flagship indoor arena since its 1987 opening. The naming rights have been held by ceramics maker NGK Insulators (Nippon Gaishi) since 2007. The arena configuration seats around 10,000 and is routinely booked for J-pop domestic tours that include a Nagoya date — Arashi, ONE OK ROCK, LiSA — as well as for touring K-pop groups whose three-city Japanese itinerary typically pairs with Osaka-Jo Hall and Yokohama Arena. Two adjacent halls (Plaza Hall and East Hall) handle rehearsal and smaller events. Access requires a walk of roughly 15 minutes from either Meitetsu Honhoshizaki Station on the Nagoya Main Line or JR Kasadera Station on the Tokaido Line, and free shuttle buses run on peak-event days. Seating is a single steep bowl with a lower tier wrapped by two narrow upper rows, a layout that keeps the upper tier closer to the stage than at most 10,000-capacity arenas. Foreign fans should allow extra travel time from Nagoya Station (about 25–30 minutes by train plus the walk) and note that the venue enforces bag checks at every gate and identity-checked entry for most overseas-artist shows.
