Fukuoka Symphony Hall is the dedicated classical hall inside ACROS Fukuoka at 1-1-1 Tenjin. The official facility guide describes a shoebox auditorium whose occupied reverberation time exceeds two seconds. Its normal layout has 1,867 fixed seats plus four wheelchair positions: 1,208 seats on level one, 384 on level two and 275 on level three. The movable acoustic reflector supports full orchestra, chamber music and proscenium presentations; orchestra-pit or forestage use reduces the sellable layout, while the chamber configuration can use only the 1,004 first-floor seats. Those official variations matter when comparing a concert ticket with a generic capacity figure.
ACROS Fukuoka connects directly from Tenjin Station Exit 16 to basement level B2, so this is the clearest rail route in rain. The official access guide also gives about five minutes on foot from Tenjin Station, seven minutes from Tenjin-minami and ten minutes from Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin). Before buying, match the event date and conductor or production to the exact session, then check level, row, restricted-view notes and wheelchair arrangements. Do not assume every concert uses all 1,867 fixed seats: the orchestra pit, forestage and chamber layout change which seats exist. ACROS asks visitors to use public transport; cross-city visitors should also allow time for the underground route and the post-concert flow through central Tenjin.
