About the Venue
Shinjuku Bunka Center is a Shinjuku City cultural venue at 6-14-1 Shinjuku. It closed for specified-ceiling and related renovation work from November 1, 2023, through September 30, 2025. Meeting and exhibition facilities resumed general use on October 1, the small hall on November 1 and the main hall on December 1, 2025. The renovated main hall now has 1,601 seats: 1,029 on level one and 572 on level two.
Use the current 1,601-seat main-hall reference, not the obsolete 1,802 figure. The official hall page lists 1,479 seats when the orchestra pit is used, and accessible or production holds can reduce sellable inventory further. Higashi-shinjuku Exit A3 is about 5 minutes away; Shinjuku-sanchome Exit E1 about 7 minutes and C7 about 10 minutes; Shinjuku Station East Exit about 15 minutes. There is no venue parking. Confirm the exact hall, entrance, opening time and ticket seat before travel.
