Nagai Stadium

Nagai Stadium is a major outdoor stadium situated within Nagai Park in Osaka's Higashisumiyoshi Ward. With a capacity of approximately 50,000, it serves as a key venue for large-scale concerts and sporting events in the Kansai region. The facility features a classic oval design with a natural grass pitch at its center, surrounded by multi-tiered stands. Seating is divided into sections including pitch-side reserved seating, first-tier stands, and upper-tier stands; for concerts, a standing area is often arranged on the pitch. As a multi-purpose venue, it is best known as the home ground of J.League club Cerezo Osaka and also regularly hosts major outdoor concerts. Its expansive layout accommodates elaborate stage productions and lighting setups. Sightlines are generally clear, though views from the uppermost rear seats can be distant, and acoustics are typical of an open-air stadium. The venue is easily accessible via the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line, with Nagai Station located within walking distance.
