Kyoto Theater

Kyoto Theater is a 941-seat indoor theater inside Kyoto Station Building at JR Kyoto Station. The official venue specification lists 693 seats on the first floor, including two wheelchair spaces, and 248 seats on the second floor. The venue hosts theater, musicals, concerts, dance, presentations, lectures and ceremonies. Visitors can reach it by Shinkansen, Kintetsu Railway, subway and bus services. Official visitor guidance says the lobby has refundable 100-yen coin lockers, food and drink should be consumed in the lobby rather than the auditorium, wheelchair viewing spaces are arranged for each event, and the theater has no dedicated car park or parking validation.
