About the Venue
Himi City Arts and Cultural Hall is a next-generation civic venue. Its main hall holds up to 800 people, with roughly 500 movable seats arranged in 12 blocks that can be repositioned pneumatically for concerts, theatre, dance, exhibitions and lectures. The hall uses a shoebox acoustic design and sits above a roughly five-metre piloti level as flood protection.
From JR Himi Station, take a taxi for about ten minutes or a bus for about 15 minutes to Geijutsu Bunkakan-mae or Geijutsu Bunkakan-nishi. From Shin-Takaoka on the Hokuriku Shinkansen, connect via the JR Johana and Himi lines. The venue is about eight minutes by car from Himi IC.
