Daiwa House PREMIST DOME (formerly Sapporo Dome) is situated in Toyohira Ward, Sapporo, Hokkaido, near the Fukuzumi Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway, about a 10-minute walk away. This multi-purpose domed stadium opened in 2001 and is owned by the City of Sapporo, with management entrusted to a third-sector company. The venue features a unique movable natural turf system, allowing the field configuration to be switched for soccer or baseball events; it can also be converted to a fully flat floor for large-scale concerts. Its fixed capacity is approximately 41,580. For concerts, the field area can be configured as a full standing pit or combined with some seated sections, while the surrounding bowl-style stands offer elevated, unobstructed views. The stadium has served as the home ground for the Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo soccer club and was also home to the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters baseball team through the 2022 season. It has hosted major events including matches during the 2002 FIFA World Cup, the 2019 Rugby World Cup, and football at the 2020 Summer Olympics. For music events, it accommodates major touring productions. The dome structure aids in sound containment, though specific acoustics vary with each show's setup. The stage is typically set at one end, with the flat field area suitable for standing audiences and the tiered seating providing a clear overhead perspective.
