Since Cross Road broke Mr.Children into the mainstream in 1994 they have never gone more than three years without a new studio album, and every one has debuted at #1 on Oricon — a streak essentially unmatched by any contemporary Japanese band. The 2026 arena run is scheduled around the follow-up to 2024's Miss You, a pivot back to early-collaborator Takeshi Kobayashi's shimmering production after the stripped studio-as-band approach of SOUNDTRACKS (2020). What makes a Mr.Children tour worth repeating is setlist discipline: Sakurai treats the back catalog as raw material, building new medleys across dates rather than leaning on faithful replays, and the 2024 Miss You tour produced five distinct setlist variants across 26 shows. The 12-arena route this time deliberately sidesteps stadium-scale venues where lyrical detail gets lost in reverb. Ariake Arena (Tokyo's post-Olympics flagship), PIA Arena MM (Yokohama's purpose-built 2020 concert arena), and Miyagi Sekisui Heim Super Arena anchor the map over any Dome option.
