About YO-KING
YO-KING is a Japanese rock singer-songwriter and a member of Magokoro Brothers. He formed the duo with Hidetoshi Sakurai while they were university students in 1989. After winning a Fuji TV folk-song competition for ten consecutive weeks, they made their major-label debut that September with the single “Umi.” During the duo’s hiatus, YO-KING began pursuing solo music in earnest in 2002.
