Artist and promoter sources reviewed

A Maastricht psychedelic-funk band returning to Japan

The profile combines first-party musical identity with the exact promoter-published Japan route and clearly states the single session represented by current marketplace inventory.

A specific band, not an ambiguous search term

The group’s official site uses the accented styling YĪN YĪN and identifies its own artist channels and catalogue. The music is built around groove rather than one simple national or genre label: official release notes describe disco, funk and psychedelia meeting Southeast Asian musical influences. Maastricht and the Netherlands are therefore retained as entity facts instead of the malformed country value that appeared in older data.

The catalogue gives the page durable value beyond one ticket. The Rabbit That Hunts Tigers established the project’s recorded world, The Age of Aquarius extended it, and Mount Matsu includes The Year of the Rabbit, Takahashi Timing, Pia Dance, Tam Tam, Komori Uta, Tokyo Disko, Shiatsu for Dinner and Ascending to Matsu’s Height. The official catalogue also separates albums, EPs and singles instead of collapsing every title into a tour label. These are release-specific references, not generic festival copy.

The verified October 2026 Japan route

Japan promoter SMASH announces the band’s return with a new release after roughly two years. The route is October 14 at Umeda Club Quattro in Osaka, October 15 at Nagoya Club Quattro, and October 16 at Spotify O-EAST in Tokyo. The three consecutive club dates form one coherent Japan tour rather than three unrelated artist records. Osaka and Nagoya use the Club Quattro rooms, while the Tokyo finale moves to the larger O-EAST stage in Shibuya.

The TIXVOY database currently contains only the October 16 Tokyo session, starting at 19:00, and one active marketplace listing. Osaka and Nagoya are official tour facts but are not shown as TIXVOY ticket inventory until corresponding sessions and supply exist. That explicit one-of-three coverage statement prevents an official itinerary from being mistaken for a marketplace availability claim.

How to use this page

Use the artist hub to verify that the listing belongs to YĪN YĪN and to reach the exact Spotify O-EAST ticket detail. Then compare date, start time, quantity, delivery method and seller disclosure. For the complete route, on-sale windows or promoter changes, follow SMASH rather than assuming the marketplace is a full calendar.

This separation is deliberate: first-party sources establish who the band is, the promoter establishes the official Japan dates, and the marketplace establishes what is actually available. None of those layers is allowed to silently substitute for another.
