June Yamagishi

June Yamagishi is a Japanese guitarist who made his professional debut in 1972 with the Kansai blues group West Road Blues Band. He later became associated with ensembles including Chickenshack and Band of Pleasure while also releasing music under his own name. His career has long connected the Japanese music scene with New Orleans through blues, funk, soul and collaborative performance.
