About VOW WOW
VOW WOW is a Japanese hard-rock band whose predecessor BOW WOW debuted in the 1970s. The group adopted the VOW WOW name and a new lineup in 1984 after vocalist Genki Hitomi and keyboardist Rei Atsumi joined. It relocated to the United Kingdom in 1986, toured Britain and Germany, and returned to the Reading Festival before playing a farewell concert at Nippon Budokan in 1990. The members have since reunited for selected VOW WOW performances.
