About Ayana Tsuji
Ayana Tsuji is a Japanese classical violinist born in Gifu Prefecture in 1997. She began violin at three through the Suzuki method and appeared with the Nagoya Philharmonic at eleven. At eighteen she won first prize at the 2016 Montreal International Musical Competition together with five special distinctions, including the Bach, Paganini, Canadian work, sonata and best semifinal recital prizes. She has since pursued an active career with orchestras in Japan and abroad as well as in recital and chamber music.
