About TENDOUJI
TENDOUJI is a Japanese rock band formed in 2014 by four former junior-high classmates from Matsudo, Chiba: vocalist-guitarists Naohiko Morita and Kenji Asano, bassist Takamasa Yoshida and drummer Naoyuki Ooi. They started their first band together in their late twenties. TENDOUJI appeared at SXSW in the United States in 2018, supported Teenage Fanclub’s Japan shows in 2019, and later played major festivals including Fuji Rock while developing the self-produced OTENTO WEST & EAST events and tours in Japan and Korea.
