About The xx
The xx are an English indie-pop band from London comprising Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith, also known as Jamie xx. The members met while at school and began making music together around 2005. Their 2009 debut album, “xx,” won the Mercury Prize, and was followed by “Coexist” and “I See You,” establishing a distinctive sound that joins intimacy with electronic texture.
