About the pillows
the pillows were a Japanese alternative rock band formed in 1989. Their long-standing core lineup comprised vocalist-guitarist Sawao Yamanaka, guitarist Yoshiaki Manabe and drummer Shinichiro Sato. After more than 35 years together, the trio officially disbanded following their Yokohama concert on January 31, 2025, with the members continuing individual activities.
