About Snarky Puppy
Snarky Puppy is an instrumental ensemble formed in Denton, Texas, in 2004 by bassist, composer and bandleader Michael League. Working with a large rotating cast, the collective brings together musicians from jazz, gospel, R&B, funk, rock and world-music backgrounds, with ensemble cohesion and cross-genre composition at the center of its sound.
