About Shonen Knife
Shonen Knife is an all-women Japanese rock band founded in Osaka in 1981 by Naoko Yamano. Its principal current lineup is guitarist-vocalist Naoko, bassist-vocalist Atsuko and drummer-vocalist Risa. Through more than four decades of recording and extensive touring in Japan and abroad, the group has established a singular place in international independent rock.
