About Sebastian Weigle
Sebastian Weigle is a German conductor born in Berlin in 1961. He studied horn, piano and conducting at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music, became principal horn of the Staatskapelle Berlin in 1982, served as General Music Director of Oper Frankfurt from 2008 to 2023, and has been Principal Conductor of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra since 2019.
