About Opus13
Opus13 is a Norwegian-Swedish string quartet formed in Oslo in 2014. Its members are violinists Sonoko Miriam Welde and Edvard Erdal, violist Albin Uusijärvi and cellist Daniel Thorell. The quartet won first prize at both the Wigmore Hall and Bordeaux international string-quartet competitions in 2025.
