About Northern19
Northern19 is a Japanese three-piece melodic-punk band formed in Tokyo in March 2003. The current lineup is guitarist-vocalist Kentaro Kasahara, drummer and backing vocalist Houshin Baba, and bassist-vocalist Soudai Tsuruga, who joined in 2019. The band grew through Japan’s live-house circuit, and its first album EVERLASTING established it in the country’s independent punk scene.
