About Nisshoku Natsuko
Nisshoku Natsuko is a Japanese piano-playing singer-songwriter from Hanamaki, Iwate Prefecture. She began piano at nine, started writing lyrics and music at twelve and launched full-scale activity under her stage name in Morioka at seventeen. She has continued to write a substantial body of original songs while appearing at rock festivals, touring nationally and creating music for films and advertising. Her 2021 album “Anti Freeze” received a prize at the 14th CD Shop Awards, and her fifth full album “Ginka” followed in 2025.
