About You Nishimura
You Nishimura is a Japanese conductor, composer and arranger born in Kamakura, Kanagawa. He studied instrumental music at Tokyo College of Music before turning to composition and conducting, and worked as an assistant in composer Shigeaki Saegusa’s office. Nishimura reached the final round of the 2003 Prokofiev International Conducting Competition in Saint Petersburg and served as resident conductor of Osaka Shion Wind Orchestra from 2017 to 2020.
