About Maximum the Hormone
Maximum the Hormone are a four-piece Japanese rock band formed in Hachioji, Tokyo, in 1998. The current lineup is Maximum the Ryo-kun, Daisuke-han, Nao and Ue-chang. The album “Buiikikaesu” broadened their reach through songs including the Death Note themes “What’s up, people?!” and “Zetsubou Billy,” and the band have continued to appear at major Japanese festivals and tour overseas.
