About Iyo Matsumoto
Iyo Matsumoto is a Japanese singer and television personality. Scouted while in junior high school, she made her singing debut on October 21, 1981 with “Sentimental Journey” and received several newcomer honors, including the Japan Record Awards New Artist Award. She has continued working in music and television, and marked her 40th debut anniversary in 2021 with the commemorative album Treasure Voice, which included a new song.
