About Kings of Convenience
Kings of Convenience are an indie folk-pop duo from Bergen, Norway, formed by childhood friends Eirik Glambek Bøe and Erlend Øye, both vocalists and guitarists. Emerging at the end of the 1990s, they gained international attention with the 2001 debut album Quiet Is the New Loud and followed it with Riot on an Empty Street, Declaration of Dependence and, in 2021, Peace or Love.
