About Khruangbin
Khruangbin are a trio from Houston, Texas, formed by bassist Laura Lee, guitarist Mark Speer and drummer Donald “DJ” Johnson. They bring funk and soul traditions from many regions into spacious instrumental writing. After “The Universe Smiles Upon You” in 2015, the group released “Con Todo El Mundo,” “Mordechai” and “A LA SALA,” alongside collaborations with Vieux Farka Touré and Leon Bridges.
