Keiko Mitsuhashi

Keiko Mitsuhashi is a Japanese conductor who graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts and its graduate school before studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and the Accademia Musicale Chigiana. She made her European debut touring with the Orchestra della Toscana in 2006. In 2008 she became the youngest winner of the Antonio Pedrotti International Conducting Competition and also received its audience and association prizes; in 2010 she became the first woman to place at the Arturo Toscanini International Conducting Competition. She received the Hideo Saito Memorial Fund Award in 2013.
