About Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra
The Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra is a professional Japanese orchestra. Its official history traces the organization to the Vierre Chamber Ensemble founded in 1970, renamed the Vierre Philharmonic in 1975 and given its current Japanese name in 1982. The orchestra reports more than 100 performances and a combined audience of over 100,000 each year.
