About Julian Rachlin
Julian Rachlin is a Lithuanian-born, Vienna-raised violinist, violist and conductor. He moved to Vienna with his family at the age of three, studied violin with Boris Kuschnir and later with Pinchas Zukerman, and at fourteen made his Vienna Philharmonic debut under Riccardo Muti as the orchestra’s youngest-ever soloist at the time.
