About Yu Ito
Yu Ito is a cellist from Ikoma, Nara Prefecture, Japan. He graduated at the top of his class from the Tokyo University of the Arts and completed its master’s program before further study at Mozarteum University Salzburg and the University of Music and Theatre Munich. He has served as principal cellist of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra since August 2022.
