About Hysteric Blue
Hysteric Blue was a Japanese pop-rock band formed in Osaka in 1997 by vocalist Tama, guitarist Naoki and drummer Takuya Kusunose. The group made its major-label debut with the single “RUSH!” in 1998, followed by a run of singles and albums before ending its activities in 2004. Its bright melodies and youthful band arrangements gave Hysteric Blue a distinctive place in Japanese pop rock around the turn of the millennium.
