About Hatsune Miku
Hatsune Miku is a singing-voice synthesizer and virtual singer character developed by Japan’s Crypton Future Media and first released in 2007, using voice material recorded by actor Saki Fujita. Creators enter melody and lyrics to make the voice perform their own songs. As musicians, illustrators and video artists published a vast body of collaborative work, Miku grew from a software character into a global creative-culture hub with 3D concerts, games and projects across many media.
