grating hunny is a Japanese rock band from Neyagawa, Osaka, active since 2023. Its songs begin with experiences of school life, loss and growing up as lived by the band’s own young generation. The current official profile identifies vocalist-guitarist Taiyo Suzuki and guitarist-vocalist Kippei Oda as the core members. After a period of change, the band returned to regular live activity in 2025 and continued releasing digital material through SEEZ RECORDS, including sold-out independent shows at venues such as Shimokitazawa DaisyBar while widening its place in Japan’s emerging live-house rock scene.
