About Dohatsuten
Dohatsuten is a Japanese rock band formed in Sapporo in 1984. From 1988 the group began full-scale activity around core members Naoki Masuko, Tomoyasu Ueharako and Katsuhiko Sakazume, moved from the Sapporo scene to Tokyo in 1991 and made its major-label debut with the self-titled album “Dohatsuten.” After a hiatus from 1996 to 1999, the band resumed recording and touring, eventually staging its first solo Nippon Budokan concert in 2014 while continuing to write rock from the viewpoint of working adulthood.
