About Denis Matsuev
Denis Matsuev is a Russian concert pianist from Irkutsk who came to international prominence after winning first prize in the piano category of the 11th International Tchaikovsky Competition in 1998. A graduate of the Moscow Conservatory, he performs regularly with major orchestras and conductors and has presented recitals at Carnegie Hall, the Vienna Musikverein and Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw.
