Antibalas

Antibalas are an American Afrobeat band founded in Brooklyn in 1998 by saxophonist Martín Perna, first emerging from Williamsburg block parties and underground shows. They later toured throughout North America, Europe, Japan and beyond, served in the Broadway musical “Fela!,” and collaborated on stage with artists including The Roots and Public Enemy. Their catalogue includes “Talkatif,” “Who Is This America?,” “Security” and “Fu Chronicles.”
