About Andreas Ottensamer
Andreas Ottensamer is an Austrian clarinetist, conductor and artistic director born in Vienna in 1989 into an Austro-Hungarian musical family. He served as principal clarinet of the Berlin Philharmonic from 2011 to 2025 while developing an international solo career and increasingly extensive work on the podium. In 2021 he won first prize, the Neeme Järvi Prize, at the Gstaad Festival Conducting Academy.
